Having baked cakes and biscuits every Sunday with her mum for as long as she can remember, it was a Christmas cake project in sixth form Home Economics classes that fuelled Trudy’s passion for cake decorating.

Trudy immediately began making cakes for family and friends and had a Saturday job at the local cake-decorating shop. Following a 20-year career in Marketing and HR and the birth of her daughter, Trudy decided to turn her hobby into a full-time business.

Trudy established JellyCake from her home kitchen in Wiltshire in 2009, where she uses the finest ingredients to ensure her bespoke wedding cakes taste as amazing as they look. She has produced recipes and cake designs for various cake decorating magazines and pictures of her cakes regularly appear in industry magazines, both in the UK and overseas.

As well as making cakes for clients, Trudy is also a regular tutor for an international online cake school, filming in-depth wedding cake tutorials.
