Practise your flower-making skills with this contemporary arrangement including Japanese anemone.

The beautiful, striking Japanese anemone starts flowering in late summer and continues into the autumn. Its colours range from a gentle white to various shades of pink through to cerise. Here it is teamed with Honesty, which makes a wonderful display for the floral artist. Its seed heads are lovely, flat, silver discs which add lightness to the arrangement. Completing the ensemble is Clematis vitalba, also fondly known as Traveller’s Joy and Old Man’s Beard.
